Would you buy a used guitar hero controller?

I'm geting Guitar Hero 2 controller, but its $80 new and $60 used. I'm not worried about the game not working, cause they will replace that. But would you suggest I buy a used one for $60 or spend the extra $20 and get it new?

If you’re buying it for the 360 (which I think you aren’t, because it’s more expensive than $80), I would definitely get it new because of some issues they had with guitars at launch. However, for the PS2, I don’t think you’ll have much of a problem with a used guitar. I mean, there might be some wear, but it will function fine. Personally, I would buy it new, just because I would want my guitar spotless. However, if you don’t mind a couple of scratches, you could save yourself $20.
