ESP Guitars vs. PRS guitars?

ro asked:

I am not sure wether or not to get a Paul Reed Smith guitar or an ESP electric guitar. I just want the standard models, nothing too fancy.
P.S. I'm a beginner/intermediate player.

ESP. ESP/Ltd would do but ESP are Japanese made unlike ESP/Ltd. Maybe it’s because mines an ESP but it’s up to you, give both ESP and PRS a try.

It all comes down to your ‘feel’ for the guitar itself: neck comfort on your hand, scale, etc. I play a PRS and I think it is fantastic for all kinds of music. The neck is well contoured and feels great on the hand. It sounds great as well. ESP guitars are pretty decent, too. They seem to work best with heavier music, probably due to the type of wood used and pickups.
